“Plant!” Church Planting Conference
Posted by: Bob Kauflin In: —Church Planting|—Other Events
In 1991 I had the privilege of participating in a church plant in Charlotte, NC. It was a thrilling, humbling, faith-stretching, unpredictable adventure that I think every leader should go through at least once.
That’s why I’m excited about the Sovereign Grace Ministries Plant! Conference, taking place next month. I have the joy of leading the songs we’ll be singing. Here’s the relevant info:
PLANT! | March 24-26, 2011
Location | Covenant Fellowship Church, Glen Mills, PA
Cost | $99 (day & session passes available)
Who Should Go | Church planters, pastors, pastors who desire to see their church plant churches, members of churches who desire to be a part of planting a church some day, worship leaders and musicians who are part of a church plant or would like to be some day
Why Go To PLANT! | You’ll have the opportunity to spend three days listening to and dialoguing with church planting thinkers and doers from different denominations and movements, all motivated to plant and build churches rooted in the gospel.
Teachers include Darrin Patrick and Daniel Montgomery from Acts 29, Mark Dever and Mike McKinley from 9 Marks and the SBC, Tim Witmer from the PCA, CJ Mahaney, Dave Harvey, Pete Greasley, Craig Cabaniss from Sovereign Grace Ministries. Shai Linne will also be teaching a seminar and putting on a concert one evening. Talk about a diverse group!
Here’s a video of Dave Harvey explaining why he’s excited about the conference:
If you’re part of a church plant or think you might one day participate in one, I think you should consider coming to Plant!
