Next 2009 Live Now Available for Download

Posted by: Bob Kauflin In: —Next/New Attitude|—Sovereign Grace Music

The Next 2009 conference took place in Baltimore, Maryland May 30-June 2. Over 2500 people gathered to worship Jesus Christ in song, to study his Word, and to rediscover who he is and what he has done. I had the privilege of leading the songs along with three different bands: the Na Band, Reilly, and Zelos. Some of the sessions also featured a 14 piece string section.

We were able to record the event and are now offering Next 2009 Live, a 13 song download for $5. That’s right – 13 songs for 5 bucks. Where else are you going to find a deal like that?

The songs on the download album are:

  • God Over All (Devon Kauflin) Na Band
  • His Name is Jesus (All Hail the Power) (Judah Groveman) Zelos
  • He Is Jesus (Stephen Altrogge) Reilly
  • Praise the Lord (Doug Plank) Na Band
  • By This We Know Love (Judah Groveman) Zelos
  • All I Have (Jordan Kauflin) Na Band
  • Jesus Thank You (Pat Sczebel) Reilly
  • I Need You (Kristian Stanfill/Eddie Kirkland) Na Band
  • The Name above All Names (Judah Groveman) Zelos
  • What a Savior (Devon Kauflin) Na Band
  • I Will Glory in My Redeemer (Steve & Vikki Cook) Na Band
  • Blessed Is the One (Doug Plank) Na Band
  • Oh the Deep, Deep Love (Bob Kauflin) Na Band

We’re also offering two songs for free at the Sovereign Grace Music website: Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus and Redeemed (by Reilly).

In a  few days we’ll have all the guitar charts up, and by the end of the month you’ll be able to purchase the songs individually. You can listen to samples at the Sovereign Grace Music website.

Below is  All I Have is Christ, performed by the Na Band, and set to video by Dave Mackenzie. Devon, my son, is leading with me, and my other son, Jordan, wrote the song. My oldest daughter, Megan, is singing. I’m a happy dad. Enjoy.

Thank you. I was so encouraged by the conference. To have the CD now is a wonderful blessing to my wife and I. Thank you for all your hard work in writing, producing, and leading through Christ-exalting music.

We are so thankful.

The transfer rate isn’t just slow at the SGM store …the connection times out after 1 hour. I can’t get the whole ZIP file to download. Any one else having this problem?

Aaron,

Very perceptive. That’s Judah Groveman’s Taylor. Devon had to borrow it in a pinch when the battery in his Martin’s preamp died.

Bob (and team),

Thanks so much for getting this put together AND making it a very affordable resource! Thanks for your demonstration of humility, leadership, and most of all pointing to Jesus and His gospel. This will serve many people well!

Aaron,

I’m definitely still sold on my Martin… Desperate times call for desperate measures, and picking up that Taylor was a certainly a desperate measure…

What a great collection of songs! My download was slow too, but it was well worth the wait. I’m looking forward to getting the sheet music when it becomes available. There are several songs I’d like to introduce to our fellowship.

Devon,

Ah… Touché… Still, I may bring my trusty Taylor to WG in case your Martin poops out on you again.

I was able to get most of the chord charts, but I didn’t see one for “I Need You”, is that available somewhere?

Thanks, I have been greatly helped by the recording.

Someone gave me a copy of the CD and when I imported it into iTunes it did not pull the info. I could find the track names online as well as the composers but not the artists who did each track. Is there a place to find that online?

Bob,
It says, “Bob Kauflin led the songs along with three different bands: the Na Band, Reilly, and Zelos.” But it does not say which band does which song. I know who wrote each song but not the artist is on each track. Can you help with that?
