Na Band CD Looked Upon – Free Song

Posted by: Bob Kauflin In: —Next/New Attitude|—Song Downloads

God tells us in Proverbs that “A wise son makes a glad father” (Prov. 15:20). For that reason, I’m a very happy man, because God has given me not only one, but two, wise sons – Jordan and Devon. Over the years I’ve sought to impress upon my sons that glorifying Jesus Christ for his great mercy is the reason they were created. They’re both seeking to do that as husbands, and now it’s a joy to see another expression of their response in a new CD, Looked Upon.

Looked Upon (or Lu for short) is the first project of the Na Band, with Devon leading and Jordan playing drums. They’re joined by other members of my home church. The band’s purpose is to set “humble orthodoxy” to music. While they regularly lead worship at Covenant Life, each year they also lead at New Attitude, the Sovereign Grace annual conference for singles and young couples.

Looked Upon was produced by Jeremy White and is a collection of eleven original theologically rich, cross-centered songs, set to creative and fresh musical arrangements. The CD won’t be available until the New Attitude conference at the end of May. But you can listen to samples of the songs at the Sovereign Grace Music site.

After last year’s New Attitude conference over 6500 people downloaded a live version of the song, “What a Savior.” This year, to give you a taste of the new project, we’re giving away the CD version of the same song. You can download it by clicking here.

Oh Yeah! “What a Savior” is one of those “I remember where I was the first time…” songs for me. My first encounter with CovLife was a One meeting and this was one of the songs I heard they played that night and it has been a fave of mine since. I’m excited about this!

What A Savior is back! That’s great! It’s truly an incredible song, and I’m glad it made its way onto a recorded project.

Some people in our group have asked- any plans for a live CD?
