WorshipGod08 Registration Now Open

Posted by: Bob Kauflin In: —WorshipGod Conferences

Today is the first day of registration for the Sovereign Grace Ministries WorshipGod08 Conference: Rediscovering the Psalms.

I’ve never thought so much about a conference this far in advance. Because attendees choose their seminars when they register, it means I had to have the seminars and descriptions worked out for the conference six months in advance. That wouldn’t be such a problem, but we ended up having 45 seminars. My original list had 56, so I cut back quite a bit. I appreciated everyone who suggested seminars on this blog when I was asking for ideas. I went through all the suggestions and came up with what I pray will serve the people who come. A complete list of seminars with their descriptions can be downloaded here.

I’m really looking forward to all that God is going to do at the conference. Just hearing from our guest speakers will be a rich feast: Craig Cabaniss, Mark Dever, Thabiti Anyabwile, David Powlison, Don Whitney, and more. But beyond the mains sessions, it’s an event that feeds you theologically, equips you in music and leadership skills, addresses issues of your heart, provides resources for equipment and technology, and builds your team. And we laugh a lot, too. Most of all, it’s a time when we gather to encounter God, magnify our great Savior, and learn how to lead others to do the same.

Ah, if only I could split myself six ways so I could attend all the sessions that look interesting…

In all seriousness, it’s an exciting lineup, and I’m looking forward to learning what I can.
