Gabriel,

There are different ways of giving announcements at conferences. Most people just pass on necessary administrative information. But some are in that distinct class of making announcements an "event." They bring humor, creativity, and passion to their role, and sometimes even pass on important administrative info. Mark Altrogge is one such individual. He is hilarious, and makes the announcement portion of the conference entertaining and engaging. At some point, I plan to show an example of Mark's "announcement gift" on the WorshipGod08.com site.

And as for other references, I don't think anyone has written extensively on this topic...

Miguel,

Yes, I have secured Mark Altrogge for the announcements once again. I'm sure that a lot of people will be coming just to witness his unusual announcement gift.

Thanks for your faithful service, Bob. Still, everyone's real question is whether Mr. Altrogge will be there for the announcements.

Bob,

Thank you for all the hard work and thought you put into these conferences to serve us. What a creative idea - a conference on the Psalms. I appreciate you!

Wow, don't stop working for the glory of God!
You're really busy, but it's for a good reason. I hope all the preperation of the conference goes well. God will bless his people there. Don't give up!
Gabriel
P.S. Too bad I don't think I'll be able to come
