Last year, my good friend, Todd Twining, who is the worship pastor at Metro Life Church in Orlando, asked me if I’d be interested in having my entire family (me, Julie, our six kids, three in-laws, and four grandchildren) come down to participate in a worship conference at his church. He didn’t have to twist my arm. So next week, Aug. 9-11, my family and I will be at the Glorify conference in Orlando, Florida.

Todd helps me serve the worship leaders and teams from the Sovereign Grace churches in Florida. While this event is regional in that sense, anyone is welcome to attend. The first night, I’ll be  giving a message on Worshiping the Trinity, which is a topic I’ve been wanting to address for some time. Other members of my family will be participating in seminars on playing guitar, playing drums, leading worship in a small group, and worshiping God as a mom. Seminars will also address songwriting, congregational worship as pastoral care, making room for the Spirit in your meetings, and much more.

If you live in the area, I’d love to see you at all or part of the conference.

1. Hey Bob! I sure wish I could go! Do you think they will post the messages for download on their website? I would love to hear Julie’s (or whomever is speaking) talk on worshipping God as a mom!! Have a great trip!

4. I hate to say that I have a conflict that weekend and cannot attend, but I was REALLY hoping to. I do hope the messages will be available soon.
