<description>"'Unite my heart to fear Your name.' Not failure. (Not the pain of) being misunderstood." OK add to that, don't fear the pain of accusation, ...Wow. You just hit something big. And it explains why, when it can look so foolish to continue, I will still arise and go forth in His name. The other voices: "You'll get hurt"... "Wouldn't you rather just attend church?" Lord, let us be faithful to the call and the gifting... to invest in the local expression of Your body, Your treasured possession;let us not bury the talent in fear of man, in fear of words other than Yours...so we might be able to say, like Paul, "I am being poured out like a drink offering."..."What was sown in tears shall be reaped with joy." Amen?

<description>WOW! I had never thought about it like that before...."It's better to suffer and walk in God's truth, than avoid pain and live a lie." This is so true. How often we tell God how things should be done, and we are in more pain when we get what we want. But when we say, "OK God, I give up" and allow Him to take full control (not that He didn't have it before) we are more joyous and at peace with everything.
He took the pain and anxiety for us, why do we consistently want to take it back upon ourselves?
Thanks for the thought provoking post!!
