Dear Bob:
Well, last week there were 6 of us there from our worship ministry including our worship pastor and his wife - God met us meaningfully through the humble leadership, Christ-centered worship and excellent teaching. There is no substitute for TRUTH and being with people committed to loving and proclaiming TRUTH. and above that, there is no substitute for the presence of our Lord, experienced by each of us throughout the week. We so longed for our senior pastor to be with us, and hope that in 2008 we can return with a larger group, including our pastor. As a vocalist and keyboardist in my church worship band, I benefitted so much from the individual sessions I attended, and actually felt a new freedom to give over my gifts to ministry in a deeper way. I am still marveling at all that I learned and realized --- I know that in the coming weeks we will all continue to grow in new ways. Thank you for modeling grace-filled, devoted worship leadership!
In Christ,
Donna

Thanks so much for the invite! I made the short trek on the last day of the conference from Northern VA and praise God, Randy Alcorn's sermon was just what I needed to hear (and I didn't even know it!). I'm so grateful that God knows me better than I know myself!

I'm looking forward to 2008! I hope I can attend the full conference next time. Thanks to all involved for dedicating their time and resources to make this conference possible.

Bob,

I spoke to Ben Chouinard today and he told me about this conference. I told him that in the 5 weeks since leaving G'burg Jewell and I have visited four churches. All of them I have found to be plainly deficient in cross-centered, Gospel-focused worship. I can't tell you how much I long for your leading our worship. I have been ruined forever by the sweet aroma of glorious worship that has been cultivated at CLC and Sovereign Grace. You are a blessing to our church family. I miss you, brother.

Phil,

Yes, we decided to do the conference every two years due to resources available to pull off conferences like this. It also gives us time to think about what we'd like to say at the next conference. In the mean time, we have plenty of messages from past conferences that you might find helpful!

Thanks for your enthusiasm.

And yes, everything we record at the conference will be available for download after the conference.

Bob,

I really wish I could be there! I hope the main sessions and seminars will be available for download.

I heard someone refer to this conference as "biannual". Does that mean no conference next year? I'm starting this fall to play with a new "praise band" at our church, and was hoping to attend next year after having a year under my belt. Will I have to wait two years? Any chance of making it an annual conference?
