P.S.

Bob, I'm gonna plead that "modeling grace" thing on #5! I know Glad songs, but finding a list of Debby Boone songs on the internet is nearly impossible!

At least two of the answers are actually given on Bob's blog! He tells you where he attended university (which was NOT West Chester State where the band GLAD was formed) and he also relates the story of the original recording of "In the First Light".

Joel,

Finally someone leaving a real comment...

I left GLAD in June of 1984, but continued to arrange and write for them until last year. I think they've put out their final CD. But we'll see...

I don't qualify on the trivia questions, but I'm curious when you were with the band. I was privileged to see GLAD play the 1985 Summerfest in Enumclaw, Wash. It was my introduction to Christian music, and it's burned in my memory. It's hard to tell from the picture if you're old enough to have been there, but is it possible you were at that show?

OK, OK, I know some of those answers were dead wrong. I already have three copies of the recording, but I can't resist a great contest. So, here is the REAL DEAL!!

1) Vassar and Iceland U
2) Eleanor Rigby.....remix
3) 3 memorable recordings. 4 forgetable. 5 banned. 1 flammable.
4) Nat King Cole. Man, you wrote that a LONG time ago!
5) Wind Beneath My Wings, no, wait, that was someone else. I Will Always Love You! No, hold it, its coming to me...The Title Song from the "Critter County" kids recordings. I cry every time I hear it.

OK, I might have missed the last one.

Bob,
I have no idea what the answers are. However, if you had asked some Carman trivia - I would have answered every one in a heartbeat.

1. Barnum & Bailey Clown College and Baylor College of Dentistry
2. Ode to Rittenhouse Square (only the instrumental remix actually mentions the Square though)
3. Beginning in 1945 they completed 26 recordings before the A Cappella Project
4. The little known jazz-fusion band George and the Jetsons.
5. "My Heart has a mind of its own"

Ok, so I might have gotten one or two wrong...
