The Giveaway is Now Officially Over

Posted by: Bob Kauflin In: Uncategorized

Thanks to all of you who e-mailed me to review the Worship God Live CD. We’ve now received 50 responses.

I particularly enjoyed the honesty (manipulation?) of this note:

"If I’m not too late to qualify for the CD giveaway, here’s my entry. I failed to check your blog yesterday and I missed this offer. I am sure tens of thousands of requests have poured in, but what a better way to model grace than to include some one underserving like me! Plus, my blog is a hit with a couple of folks around west Tennessee."

Hey, if you’re not checking my blog every day, I have no sympathy for you. You should know that a day without my blog is like a day…well actually, it might be a pretty good day. But your appeal to "model grace" was very persuasive. Anyway, we didn’t exactly have tens of thousands of requests…and I’m glad you have a couple of folks in Tennessee reading your blog. So I hope you enjoy the CD! (Of course, you’re probably not reading this…)

UPDATE: I still am waiting to give away about 15 CD’s to anyone who can answer the five questions in this post.

Jon,

I don’t know what’s come over me. Maybe I’m just drinking too much Earl Grey tea.

I’m sure my trying to inject humor into the blog is only a temporary phase.

That email was pretty funny. It could have been a stand-alone. :)
