Great post as well. Many parents depend upon the church for the spiritual growth of thier children. But children may only spend three hours in church a week, and twice a week. For three hours a week a child may be influenced by the church, this is great. But what about the 35 or more hours a week a child is with his/her class mates at school. Parents have to play a greater role in the lives of thier children and be the leaders that encourage and push thier children to thirst after God.

What a great post. Thanks for sharing some of the philosophical underpinnings behind the great Sovereign Grace Kids worship album. There's an issue of "Free Grace Broadcaster" that collected some Puritan writings on "Family Worship". You can see it here. It provoked my thinking in a similar way to your blog.
