Bob,

Thanks for reminding me of what bringing truth to bear in your own life looks like during times of sickness. I've been ill since Wednesday.

I just finished reading CJ's book on Humility, and his chapter on Trials and Suffering (though my sickness can't even be compared to many people's trials and what they suffer) reminded and convicted me afresh of my own proud heart so much wanting relief more than God Himself, which is directly opposite to the psalmist's point in Psalm 130. Oh, how many times our heart wanders, but O :)! how many times He not only sustains, but also draws us back to Himself and forgives us!!! What a Savior! Blessed is the man against whom the Lord will not count his sin -Rom 4:8

Thanks for writing so often and so well in these blogs. Keep up the good labor! ~J

Psalm 130 is one of two of my favorite psalms. It is so hard to decide... Anyway, Thanks for the thoughts on it. I just blogged on it myself.

May you find redemption with Great Power...

Many blessings...
